Interactive flat panel vs projector for classrooms
A practical comparison for schools and coaching centres choosing between IFP and projector setups in India.

When an interactive panel wins
IFPs shine in mid-size classrooms where teachers annotate, switch apps, and need consistent brightness with ambient light. Fewer consumables than lamps, and a single wall unit is easier for faculty who are not AV specialists.
When a projector is the better fit
Large rooms, auditoriums, and budget multi-room rollouts often favour high-lumen projectors. Viewing distance and ambient light matter — a cheap projector in a bright room fails adoption faster than a modest IFP in the right space.
Don’t forget audio and mounting
Display choice is only half the classroom. Wall strength, cable paths, classroom mics, and teacher training decide whether the room gets used. We quote after survey so those pieces are in scope.
Next step
Share room size, student count, and whether you need capture/hybrid. We’ll recommend IFP, projector, or a mixed campus standard.
